Dr. Sajid Butt is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in musculoskeletal disorders appointed at the RNOH in 2005. His speciaist interests include sports injury imaging, bone and soft tissue tumours and spinal imaging. He performs CT guided RF tumour ablations, image guided therapeutic and diagnostic injections for spinal and orthopaedic disorders..
Dr Butt completed his MBBS in 1989 and successfully completed his radiology training from Pakistan’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1995. He completed his radiology residency from Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2003. He then completed a one-year fellowship in radiology of musculoskeletal and spinal disorders from the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry in 2004.
Dr Butt takes part in the management of bone and soft tissue sarcomas. He attends RNOH Multidisciplinary team meetings and takes part in the diagnosis and radiological assessment of patients. He is involved in teaching junior doctors.
