Profile:
I was appointed as Consultant Radiologist at RNOH Stanmore in 2005 and I continue there as a full time radiologist. I am core member of the bone & soft tissue sarcoma, complex spine and neurospine, and shoulder multidisciplinary committees.
I was the first Clinical Director of Radiology and member of the Executive Committee at RNOH. Currently, I am Treasurer of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists. I am recently elected as member of Faculty Board, Royal College of Radiologists. I am also executive member of the British Indian Skeletal Society.
I am honorary visiting Professor at Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai appointed by Prof Mayilvahanan. I am faculty at the Sri Sathya Superspeciality Hospitals (SSSIHMS), Whitefield and Putttaparthi, India.
Education and training: I qualified in undergraduate medicine and postgraduate radiodiagnosis from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sewagram, India. Following residency at Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore, I was a Specialist Registrar in Radiology at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for 4 years. I obtained the UK FRCR in 2000. I did a 1 year MSK radiology fellowship at the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry in 2004.
Specialist interests: My strengths are in MDT decision making, and complex musculoskeletal and spine intervention.
